The Waltham Police Department
Citizens' Police Academy is a law enforcement educational program
developed to provide local citizens and business owners with a behind-the-scenes
look at police work.
The 23nd Citizens Police Academy Class
July2,2007
During this 12 week
program of a behind-the-scenes look at police work, participants will have an opportunity to experience the many facets
of police work from the officer's point of view.
This program will include classroom and field exercises on:
Patrol Procedures
Narcotics Investigation
Domestic Violence
Field Exercises
Patrol Ride Alongs
Firearm Training (in a State-of-the-Art Firing Range)

more about your police department or interested in a law enforcement
career, or just curious, this program is for you.

students per session. Applicants will be notified upon acceptance.
The Academy runs twice
a year during the Spring and Fall at the Waltham Police Academy,
161 Lexington Street Waltham, Ma.
This
program is FREE to citizens of Waltham and
runs Wednesdays from September 22, 2010 to
December 8, 2010
from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM Waltham Police Academy,
161 Lexington Street.
