There is a one day delay this week for trash/recycling and yard waste pick up due to the July 4th Holiday

Dear Waltham Residents:

As a reflection of our time, the Recycling Department will not mail the 2010 -2011recycling calendar to each household.  This green initiative will conserve paper, energy, natural resources, and precious tax dollars!!

TUESDAY TRASH PICKUP                NOV. 15TH - NOV. 19TH

WEDNESDAY TRASH PICKUP           NOV. 22RD - NOV. 26TH

THURSDAY TRASH PICKUP              NOV. 29TH - DEC. 3RD

FRIDAY TRASH PICKUP                   DEC. 6TH - DEC. 10TH 

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND YOUR LEAVES WILL BE VACUUMED ONLY ONCE DURING THE FALL ON THE ABOVE WEEK DESIGNATED FOR YOUR TRASH PICK UP

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR LEAVES OUT PRIOR TO THE MONDAY OF YOUR SCHEDULED WEEK FOR VACUUMING.

LEAF BAG PROGRAM
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BAG YOUR LEAVES.  LEAF BAGS WILL BE PICKED UP BY CAPITOL WASTE SERVICES UNTIL DECEMBER 18TH ON YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED YARD WASTE DAY.

   Please note that containers of trash, recycling or yard waste should not weigh more than 50 lbs and the container/barrel should not exceed 32 gallons
