Description of Services

All documents and records are available to the public, with some exceptions pertaining to investigative materials under legal review.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Building Department to insure public safety, health and welfare as they are affected by building construction, through providing structural strength, adequate means of egress, sanitary conditions, light and ventilation, energy conservation, fire safety and to further secure safety health and welfare to inhabitants, visitors and property, from all hazards incident to the design, construction, reconstruction, alterations, repairs, demolition, removal and use and occupancy of building and structures and land.
